Our winner of the costume contest is the youngest contestant “Baby Pumpkin” who is only 4weeks old. The party started with dishing out on good food brought by everyone. Karaoke was blasting in the background and laughter echoed the hallway. People carried on conversation while baby pumpkin slept on. When time to show off their costumes, everyone walk one by one around and strike a pose for the audience clapping and taking pictures. The organizers then decided that this year winner will be different and in appreciation to our member who just had a baby and the effort of coming (both in complete costume) the award was given to both of them.
The party lasted almost 2am as everyone stayed and enjoyed the get together which happens twice a year. Halloween was celebrated and the next will be in December as gift giving to one another is part of the society’s strong beliefs. See you in our Christmas Party!!
